Just because I'm different... (Spirit Day 2012)

...doesn't mean I would be inferior you. It doesn't mean that you have the right to talk shit about me, to ignore me, to hit me, to hurt me in any way, thank you very much.

Sooo, I know I'm a day late for the Spirit Day, but to tell the truth, I didn't even know about the whole thing until yesterday evening, and I had no ideas what to make to honor the day.

I used to be bullied myself, so just ignoring the day was no option. Today, I came to think of this!

The skeleton is a birthday gift for a friend, who turned 18 last Monday; I recalled her saying she's been decorating her new apartment in purple, so I made the skeleton a little purple bow tie. I had no idea that purple was the color of Spirit Day too! What a coincidence. So, two birds with one stone.

So, even if Spirit Day is gone, do what you can to stop bullying. You can make a change!

This was the easiest way to compose this photo so that one would know it is about bullying.
In my case, I would've loved to be completely ignored by everyone. Would've been wonderful. But no, of course they wouldn't let me be. But, making this pic look more like my high school years would've been difficult using amigurumis.
