Description
I know, loads of people have made their own clay Kodama, buuut I still wanted to make my own too
These little guys are of course based on the forest spirits in the Studio Ghibli movie Princess Mononoke, and are made from Fimo polymer clay They stand (sit?) about 4 centimeters tall
I was intending to make an army of them, and sell them on Etsy, but it turns out they're completely impossible to keep purely white; they collect loads of dust when making them, so they're all speckled with dust particles e__e I tried painting them with white acrylic paint, buuut they just collected more dust while the paint dried
Does anyone know any tips on how to not have a million dust particles stick to the polymer clay (other than making them in a freaking vacuum)? Or any tips on how to hide them? It doesn't show that much on the photo, but it really bugs me
Anyway, hope you like; more photos will most likely be uploaded soonly

You're right, white is a pain in the butt! But, if you use a q-tip and alcohol you can rub away the dust and speckles that settle. Keep em covered while not working, cover if painting. Like a big box or something is what I do.
